At Stoney Brook Dance Company, every dancer who walks through our doors is supported, valued, and celebrated for their unique personality and style. As we begin this exciting new chapter as a not-for-profit organization, we remain committed to creating an inclusive, family-friendly environment where every child and teen can thrive.
Our studio is rooted in community. We believe dance is about more than learning steps. It is about building meaningful connections, encouraging one another, and creating a space where every dancer feels they truly belong. From the shy or energetic toddler taking their very first class to the expressive, dedicated, and confident teen, we welcome dancers of all ages and personalities.
As we look ahead to the upcoming season, we are thrilled to introduce several exciting new classes and expanded programming options for our dancers and community members.
We are officially transition to operating as Stoney Brook Dance Non-Profit Association Inc.
Registration will be open for the 2026/27 Fall session from June 23rd to October 15th.
Online opens at 6PM
In person from 6-9PM
Dance is about so much more than the steps you learn. It is about the bonds formed between classmates, the friendships that last a lifetime, and the feeling of belonging to a community that shares your goals and celebrates your growth.
Dance also gives children and teens a powerful way to express themselves, channel their emotions, and discover the artist within. Through movement, they build resilience, confidence, creativity, and joy that carries far beyond the studio.
Our studio is located in Steinbach, Manitoba, on Treaty 1 Territory and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. We acknowledge the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, Dene, and Métis Peoples, and we honour their enduring relationship with this land.
As a dance community, we recognize that movement, storytelling, music, and gathering have always been meaningful ways of sharing culture, identity, and connection. We are grateful to learn, create, and dance on this land, and we commit to moving forward with respect, humility, and a responsibility to reconciliation.
