Musical Theatre is a lively and expressive class that combines acting, singing, and dancing to help students develop the skills used in stage productions and popular musicals. Inspired by shows such as The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, and other Broadway-style performances, this class encourages dancers to explore storytelling through music, movement, and character work.
Students will learn how to bring a song to life through facial expression, stage presence, choreography, and performance skills. Classes may include acting exercises, vocal work, dance combinations, character development, and theatre games, all designed to help students grow in confidence and creativity.
