
Acro is offered for dancers ages 5 and up and combines dance technique with acrobatic movement, tumbling, and limbering skills. This class helps dancers develop strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, control, and body awareness in a safe and progressive way.
Using the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, students will work on skills such as cartwheels, bridges, handstands, rolls, walkovers, balances, and other acrobatic elements while learning how to blend them smoothly into dance choreography. Dancers will focus on proper technique, safe progressions, alignment, conditioning, and flexibility training to build the foundation needed for more advanced skills.
