What is Commercial Contemporary?
Commercial Contemporary is a fusion of contemporary and commercial dance that blends fluidity and technique with dynamic performance quality. The style explores a variety of movement qualities, textures, levels, and creative pathways, resulting in choreography that is both expressive and visually impactful.
In this workshop, we will focus on movement quality, improvisation, floorwork, musicality, movement dynamics, and creative pathways while encouraging dancers to explore versatility and expand their movement vocabulary.
